Excellent as always

Excellent as always

Incredibly good food and service

The first class service, ambiance, and outstanding food quality make this a must visit restaurant for locals and out of town visitors. You will not be disappointed.

Lovely Food

Best food i've ever tried

Very Nice!

A lovely, intimate place with very good food, very good service and a very nice wine list.

Well worth the trouble!

The restaurant was hard to find and it was not due to it being in the evening or from being from out of town. The restaurant is inside of a resort and it probably was due to the fact I was looking for a building. Consequently, we arrived late but had no problem being seated. When I made my reservation I was informed that the restaurant did not have any reservations for the times that I wanted and had to opt for a different time in between. While at the restaurant I observed a lot of empty tables before I was seated and after I left and I calulated that those were the times I requested at first. Go figure? Inspite of all of the above the dining experience was great. Excellent service, Great Food, and an outstanding ambiance. They had a lovely Duo singing in the lounge and the music was piped outside to where we were dining. We inquired about the name of the CD being played over the sound system and the waiter informed us that the music we heard was being performed live in the lounge. The music surely added to the ambience and made the whole experience outstanding.

An Amazing Meal at T. Cooks

It was our anniversary and we were looking for an outstanding dining experience. T. Cooks did not disappoint. Our table was decorated with fresh rose petals, our waiter was attentive but not in a hurry or pushy. The meal was incredibly good and the Barolo (red wine) recommended by the restaurant was perfect with our meal. They even gave us an anniversary keepsake menu to mark the occasion. We will come back soon.

Wonderful place to celebrate an important occasion

The small details they did to celebrate our anniversary was awesome. petals of roses on our table, a menu displaying the occasion of our visit, a personalized desert wishing us a Happy Anniversary. Nice details overall.

My Favorite Getaway Restaurant

When I'm at T. Cooks at the Royal Palms, I feel like I leave the US and go to another country and culture. The heavy wooden furniture with rich, worn fabrics and the various fancy, but cozy, rooms make you feel like your in a movie. The atmosphere of unpretentious classiness complements the beautiful food, and rustic manicured gardens. I never want to leave, and they always make you feel welcome there.. I've never had the chance to be a hotel guest, but it is definitely on my wish list!!

Great first meal in Phoenix

Had my first meal in Phoenix (went right after being picked up from the airport) at T. Cooks in the Royal Palms Resort. Was very impressed with the decor and overall ambience; the patio seating was a great way to soak in the desert twilight for a first-time visitor to the Southwest like myself. The service was excellent as well, and the food was quite good. The server was also up front in his recommendations, steering us away from a tasting menu that had not been well-received by other guests; we appreciated the honesty! Had a full course and left very stuffed. My only complaint was that the paella was over-salted for my tastes.

Excellent

T. Cooks is always one of the restaurants of choice when we are in Phoenix. The charm and elegance of the Royal Palms Resort adds to the exceptional experience.

T. Cooks

Paella was very nice. Lamb was very ordinary! White bean soup was good, but the pear salad was completely generic.

Abience nice but food sucks, compelled to write

A lovely, intimate place with very good service a very nice wine list but the food sucks. I can give 4 stars for ambience 3 stars for service but food a complete disaster. I ordered fennel lobster bisque soup which wasn't great but I could consume it but entre pork tenderloin did really suck. When I say suck I am ignoring the $30 price on it as it was company paid, I mean it was hard to consume. Taste apart Something in it was irritating tongue. Compare to this "A different Point of view" was an excellent experience as all the food there was exceptionally delicious. Service and ambience was also above this. I really woder how they got the rating that is shown on this web page.
