Top of the Rock Restaurant offers exquisite American cuisine in an amazing setting. The circular dining room is awash in rich wood, with 360 degrees of windows surrounding diners. Once you get over the astonishing panoramic views, turn your attention to the plate. Chef de Cuisine Michael Noone turns out elegant comfort food, such as Braised Pork Osso Buco and Bacon-Wrapped Swordfish, and Gorgonzola Baked Veal Chop. Top of the Rock ensures that you won't be disappointed on your next trip to Tempe.
We had the best waitress ever - the food was fantastic and the special they had that day was VERY resonable! Everyone was very nice including the chef. Do valet parking though - parking lot far from restaurant.
The food and ambiance was very good. Service was a little slow, but we had a large group which can be difficult to manage.
Beautiful view of Phoenix. Recommend reservations and request for a window seat. Make reservation for 3 people if you are only a party of 2 because the tables for 2 are very cramped and only 1 seat has the view.
Top of the Rock is a good special occasion restaurant. The service was decent, although I tend to prefer waiters who are a bit more attentive. We were seated by the window, which had a beautiful view. I had the filet and it was amazing, but the wine was only good. There could have been a better selection. For dessert we had the creme brulee trio. The grand marnier one was the only one I had more than one bite of, the chocolate and coffee ones were disappointing. Overall, a good experience, but the only thing really worth the price was the entree.
