Coup de Tartes - Restaurant Review
Diners that are looking for a cozy French bistro reminiscent of a quaint French café need look no further: Coup de Tartes is the answer. Located on North 16th Street, Coup de Tartes is a BYOB restaurant that strives to use the freshest, local, organic ingredients whenever possible. Some French restaurants may offer overly elaborate meals with too many different flavors that are poorly prepared. At Coup de Tartes, the focus is on simple French dishes that have been honed to deliciousness, letting the natural flavors and straightforward sauces speak for themselves. All of this is evident in meat dishes, Brulee dishes, and even salads; but when it comes down to it, nothing beats the tartes.

Aiello's
Address: 5202 N. Central Ave., Phoenix, AZ 85013 (Map)
In midtown Phoenix, Central Avenue's become a gastronomic ground zero for food peddlers catering to the hungry crowds that roam the city proper. Since setting up shop there in 2007, ex-New York restaurateurs Joe and Myrah Aiello have been offering foodies in ‘The Valley of the Sun’ the same recipe for success they served up in Manhattan: Classic, Italian cooking and old school service and charm. All things considered, Aiello's seems to have translated something about the heart and soul of food hospitality for folks on the both sides of the Mississippi.
